Day To Night

I’m trying something a little new on the blog today! For today’s post, I was dolled up by the talented personal stylist, Lauren Farnoosh. Keep scrolling to read all about why Lauren chose this perfect day-to-night outfit for me:

My favorite pieces are one’s that can be transitioned from day to night. This peachy Ulla Johnson dress looks perfect dressed up or down. The second I saw this dress at Alys Grace I knew it would look incredible on Tamryn! The color is phenomenal, the fabric is ultra-light and soft, and the cut is very flattering! Styling feminine dresses and skirts with tennis shoes is one of my favorite ways to make a gorgeous dress like this casual enough for grabbing lunch, so I paired it with a pair of Tamryn’s white Adidas sneakers. Next, I added this Iro leather jacket in blue as an unexpected mix of colors. The muted blue and orange tones complement each other rather nicely and scream ‘Spring is here!’. To finish off this outfit we threw on a pair of Illesteva sunglasses in this cool matte black aviator style.

Transitioning this dress for a night out is rather effortless; it’s so elegant and feminine on its own that you don’t need to do much else to it. We added a pair of silver pearl earrings and a drop necklace to compliment the low neckline. For shoes, any neutral colored pair of heels will work. A pump or a strappy heel would both look great, however Tamryn and I decided to add some edge with these hardware embellished Alexander Wang chunky heels.
