As much as I am looking forward to fall, I am also trying to soak up the final days of summer. I absolutely love warm nights filled with lots of light and beautiful sunsets, an excuse to eat ice cream multiple times a week, and sitting poolside or beach side. I always get a little sad when the seasons begin to change because I can tend to be very nostalgic. This can sometimes prevent me for living in the moment and I am truly trying to change this mindset. While it’s fine to look back on great memories, I need to push myself to live every day to it’s fullest so I can fully enjoy all the good that’s happening around me.

This summer, I worked very hard to live in the moment and it really paid off. I was fortunate to spend time with my friends and family, experience an amazing staycation with Jonny, and face my “procrastination pile” that has been building over the past year. All in all, I really feel like this summer has been beyond amazing. Last weekend, Jonny and I celebrated our 6th anniversary (our actual anniversary is in April but we have been so busy that we were only just able to celebrate!) in a fun hotel in San Jose. We stayed for one night and ended our stay with the INCREDIBLE Justin Timberlake concert. We pretty much had the hotel all to ourselves and had most of the amenities all to ourselves (hello, night swimming!) and had a blast just hanging out in a place that’s not our home.

Thanks for stopping by!
