For The Love Of The Denim Skirt

Friends, welcome to my newest/oldest obsession…the denim skirt. I used to wear denim skirts constantly in high school and somewhat in college but I remember them all fitting so terribly that I kind of just wrote them off as something I no longer wanted to wear as my style matured. Honestly, I think it was the stretch denim that made the skirts cling to my legs and they were all way too short for me anyways. Stretchy + too short = not a great combo for yours truly. However, when Re/Done came into my life (Re/Done takes vintage Levi’s pieces and re-makes them into more modern styles while keeping the best parts of the vintage-ness. I absolutely LOVE Re/Done. I have a few pairs of their jeans and they are always my go-to’s. Over the summer, I decided to take a chance on a Re/Done high waisted denim waist because it was on major sale. I was honestly fearing the worst with the fit but when I put it on, it fit so perfectly that I immediately bought another one. I could NOT get over how comfortable and flattering these Re/Done skirts are. I am OBSESSED. You’ve probably noticed that I have been wearing them CONSTANTLY (it’s almost embarrassing how much I’ve been wearing them) and I feel like they give every single outfit an instant cool girl vibe. I’m definitely okay with that. If you haven’t worn a denim skirt for awhile but are loving the look, I highly recommend you taking a chance on a Re/Done one. The high waist, cut, and washes are the best that you will find, I guarantee it.
