If you have been following for awhile, you know that Doen has always had a very special place in my style heart. I remember when they first launched and being blown away by the fact that they were not only a woman-run company but that their pieces were insanely beautiful. Additionally, their pieces are made in small batches, which ensures that each piece you order will have a high level of quality.

I have said it before and I will say it again for the sake of this blog post, but tight clothing IS. NOT. MY. THING. Never has been, never will be. I never felt confident in tight clothing, which I had accepted. However, when I got pregnant, I knew I was going to have to make some changes to my clothing preferences as I grew bigger. A lot of my girlfriends sung the praises of tighter fitting dresses to help accentuate the bump and while I wasn't completely turned off by the idea, it still made me wonder if I would be able to feel good wearing tighter pieces.

How in the world is it almost 2020? The start of a new decade and maybe the most exciting chapter that Jonny and I will start in early March 2020. It's kind of crazy to think about how different our lives are going to be once Baby Beeb is born and we are both excited (and nervous!) to see how we will all adapt to the biggest change ever. The end of the year always makes me reflect on everything that happened over the past twelve months and it's crazy how fast time is flying by. I really feel like I JUST told Jonny that I was pregnant and now we are preparing for this little guy's arrival. Like, WHAT?!

I love me a good layered sweater moment, don't you? To be honest, I'm actually not a sweater poncho person but I just couldn't say no to this knit combo from Mango. I bet you didn't know that I'm actually wearing TWO knit sweater pieces that I paired together. One is a poncho style (I'm wearing it as a dress here) and the other is more of a cape style that has a turtleneck attached to the knit cape portion. Both pieces have very thick and cozy turtlenecks (my fav!) and it was really fun to wear these two pieces together.

Some people might say that I look like Elmo in this coat but I think I look like one big walking festive bundle of holiday joy. This coat is definitely a statement piece (I bought it last year from Nordstrom, it's by Topshop) and I love the beautiful deep red color and the teddy bear effect. It's just so FUN.
