Happy Friday, everyone! This is an especially happy Friday for me because I am graduating from my Master’s Program this Sunday, so saying I am excited for this weekend is a huge understatement. 🙂
Okay, let’s get back to the clothes, shall we? Remember when you were little and it was really cool and oh-so-adult-like to make your t-shirts into crop tops by twisting the bottom together, slipping it through the neck hole (sorry, that sounds so weird), and then pulling it through the neck hole to make some sort of weird bikini/crop-top creation? Well, this image always comes to mind when I tie the bottom of my button-up shirts together to create a shorter shirt length. I am not usually one to tie my shirts like this, but for some reason, I was really feeling it paired with this high waisted skirt. I really like the effortlessness of this outfit (most of which comes from the picnic-y feel of the tied gingham shirt), even though it could be dressed up or down depending one what type of occasion you need it for. Also, when you pair anything with a gorgeous lace skirt like the one above, you’re pretty much ready for anything, amiright?!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will see you back here on Monday!
Love your shoes!

I luv that skirt! It is an absolute favorite. Would never in a million years think to pair it within gingham. Great outfit.
