I’m back!!!! It feels so great to be active on the blog again. I’ve really missed interacting with all of you while I was away in Italy. I made the decision not to take my blog camera and my computer with me on the trip because I wanted to be fully present during my time away. Thanks for understanding!

I am so happy to be starting off the week with this amazing poplin shirt + jean shorts combo. There’s nothing I love more than dressing up my casual pieces, like these star printed denim shorts from Target (yes, TARGET!), with a beautiful classic piece like this State of G button up shirt. Ladies, can I just take a moment to admit that I am constantly trying to find the perfect white poplin shirt? It always feels like a struggle because the ones that I’ve tried either feel too large, too short, too stiff, you name it. I just have never been able to find one that fits me well, which sucks because a classic white button down shirt is one of my favorite things to wear. Enter this State of G white poplin shirt. Not only is the material fantastic (not too thick, not too sheer) but it falls beautifully, creating a very flattering shape. I already know that I will wear this top at least once a week thanks to it’s versatile nature. I can see myself wearing it tucked into skirts, tied up at the bottom for a retro look, or worn loosely with a pair of boyfriend jeans.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this particular shirt and urge you to check out State of G’s website so that you can grab one for yourself. Oh, I haven’t even mentioned that they come in other colors yet because I’ve been obsessing over the amazing fit. I’m dying to get my hands on a black one as well!

Friends, even though I am desperately missing Italy, it feels great to be back with all of you.
