Okay. It’s finally February, which means I will basically be wearing pink and red and all things girly due to one of the cutest holidays, Valentine’s Day! Honestly, Valentine’s Day is not a huge stand out holiday for Jonny and I because we would like to think that everyday is like Valentine’s Day to us. However, I am a major sucker for cutesy gimmicky things, like adorable heart shaped cards, delicious themed candies that say “be mine,” and of course planning holiday color palette outfits to compliment the anticipation and celebrations! I know it’s a week early, but I just couldn’t wait any longer to share some of my V Day inspired looks and up first is this pink and olive ensemble. Of course, if you have been following this blog for awhile, you have probably gathered that I love pink. Mixing different shades of pink with this gorgeous olive coat that I bought a few months ago (hurry, some just came back in stock!) feels so unexpected and fresh to me. I love a good color contrast and the olive tone helps balance out the pinks! Speaking of pink, I have a feeling that my mom, a fellow pink addict, will probably want to steal this pair of pants. I scored these trousers on major sale during one of J Crew’s recent promos and just LOVE the color and fit. Thank you, J Crew, for always making classic pieces with unexpected color choices and fabrics!

I hope you all have a great day!

I just Luv everything about this outfit. The outstanding cut, fit and color of these trousers, is a positive hit with me. I really like the slight contrast in pink shades. Each shade is great on it’s own, but each compliments the other when worn together. The olive color in this coat is an inspiration. Brings the entire ensemble memorable. Well Done!
