You guys. I love the color green. It’s actually my sister’s very favorite color, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have a fondness for it as well, right? Anyways, I love the color green but I find that I don’t wear it that often. Weird, right? Well, when I saw this Dainty Jewells dress in this gorgeous bright kelly green, I know I had to wear it. Not only is the color insanely beautiful and bright, especially after a little rain that we tried to dodge during this very blog shoot, but the lace detailing. THE LACE DETAILING!!! I mean, if it wasn’t enough to have the scalloped lace edges on the hem of the dress and sleeves, Dainty Jewells even created the most beautiful high neck lace collar of all time. Isn’t it amazing?! Okay, I was trying my hardest to write a polished review of this dress, but I just can’t help but gush gush gush over it. Well, #sorrynotsorry because this dress is worth the gush.
Now the awesomeness of Dainty Jewells doesn’t stop at this lace dress. They have so many beautiful dresses and skirts that would make anyone want to gush while wearing them. Seriously, check them out! I can’t wait to wear this gorgeous dress everywhere and anywhere. Plus, you know it’s a good dress when people walking by feel the strong need to stop and compliment your outfit.
Have a great weekend!
Thank you to Dainty Jewells for partnering with Wannabe Fashion Blogger on this post.
Omg, this dress is just awesome. I Luv the color, the lace, the fit is flattering and the neckline detailing is inspired. Accessorizing with the bright pink was a wonderful idea. Both colors benefited. Well done

I’m SO loving all of the colors in this outfit! You inspire me to think outside of my neutral box. I love how you incorporated the scarf from Le Tote too – I picked a green one so hoping it can spice up my outfit this weekend π Happy Friday!

Hi Susan! It’s pretty easy once you get the braiding part down. Practice, practice, practice is all I can recommend. That and tons of bobby pins and hairspray!
THAT DRESS! I’m so amazed at your ability to put bold colors together. I love the pink/green combo! Feeling inspired to mix and match some fun colors for spring π xxo Lisa

You are so sweet, Lisa! Thank you so much. I’ve been leaning more toward neutrals lately and just felt inspired to brighten it up for spring! π
Random question but How do you do your hair like that? Are those french braids? I’m trying to grow out my pixie too and just love your hair like this!

Hi Mel! Yes! They are french braids. My mom taught me how to braid when I was a kid so I’ve been doing it ever since. Definitely try it out! You’ll love how refreshing it feels! π
