For awhile now, I’ve been gravitating towards basics. Can I be honest for a quick sec? A lot of the times, I love shooting blog posts because it inspires me to wear things I don’t normally wear during my work week. However, lately, I’ve been thinking that I need to bring more of my “basic” looks to the blog so you can see how I dress 95% of the time. Are you guys cool with that? Great!
Anyway, I waited for months for this skirt to go on sale and it was worth the wait because I plan on wearing it all fall and winter with these FANTASTIC booties and my Stuart Weitzman OTK boots. As you know, I’m obsessed with the paper bag waist (hello, slimming!) and it helps me feel so pulled together! I paired this skirt with my favorite (and I mean FAVORITE) button down oxford top that I basically wear once a week. Not only does it fit perfectly, but the weight of it is perfect. Not too light, not too heavy. Poifect.
