Every fall/winter, I buy one (okay, maybe a couple) new statement coats. J Crew is usually my one-stop-shop for classic yet statement outerwear pieces that I never get rid of. I only started this routine a couple of years ago, but I really love incorporating new outwear because it helps breathe new life into staple pieces, like these jeans and this peplum button down. A statement coat can really help even a more casual outfit look super glam and pulled together, which is why I basically live in my coats and jackets during the colder months. Plus, how could you say no to this gorgeous dusty rose/purple coat? Obviously, I couldn’t and I’m glad it has found it’s home in my closet. Welcome, beautiful coat. Welcome.
