Cloudy With A Chance Of Fur.

It is finally starting to feel like fall in San Francisco (hopefully, I’m not jinxing it!). Fall weather calls for boots and layers, two of my favorite things! I was lucky enough to scoop up these Blondo over-the-knee boots during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. Having wanted a pair of Stuart Weitzman suede 50/50’s, I was immediately drawn to how similar these Blondo boots compared to their much more expensive counterpart. I decided to take a chance on them and let me tell you, they are PERFECT. If I were to be nit-picky, the only thing I would change would be the height of the shaft. They are about a half an inch to an inch shorter than the 50/50’s, but they are high enough that it doesn’t bother me. I cannot wait to wear these babies around all winter long, especially since they are waterproof. How amazing is that?!

I have been dreaming about wearing my faux fur wrap and OTK boots all summer long and it’s finally happening. I know it probably seems like I am over-reacting to being able to wear a scarf and a pair of boots but I don’t care. If you had been endlessly, sometimes hopelessly, hunting for your most coveted fall and winter items and finally found them, you would be excited, too.
