Dressing for this holiday season may be one of my favorite things. Everything feels exciting and nostalgic all at the same time, you (hopefully!) have vacation time saved to take time off, and glitz and glam are everywhere you look. I usually gravitate to fancier looks for dinners with the family and outings with friends because, let’s be honest, it’s more fun. Guaranteed, I will be overdressed for my family’s Thanksgivings but that’s exactly where I like to be. Getting dressed up helps me feel glamorous and if wearing that gorgeous BCBG lace cape dress to Thanksgiving dinner makes me happy, well hot damn, I am going to do it.
