Okay. Let me start this off by saying, hats are usually not my thing. Don’t get me wrong. I love hats! They always look so amazing on everyone else, but for some reason, whenever I buy a hat (once in a blue moon), I always feel self-conscious when I wear it. I’m sure this is due to the fact that I never actually wear hats so I don’t feel comfortable wearing them out and about. Also, I feel like I have an odd shaped head, unfit for cute hat wearing. However, when I saw this adorable pink wool hat on H&M’s website, I fell in love. I loved the color and that the fit resembled a baseball hat without the cutting-off-circulation feeling I used to get when I attempted to wear one. I decided that I would take a chance on this little hat and anxiously waited for it’s arrival.

When it came, it was even cuter than it’s online picture. I loved the structure of the hat and the color/embellishments were just perfect compliments to my feminine wardrobe. I chose to debut this hat with a more relaxed casual outfit, and I think the girliness of the hat mixed with the more rugged feel of the camo sweatshirt work well together. As always, I really like mixing unexpected pieces together, like a camo sweatshirt, metallic oxfords, and a fun pink hat, which offsets the casual vibe of the ensemble.

When I look at these pictures, I still feel self-conscious seeing myself in a hat. Overall, I like how it looks and want to try and incorporate it more into my spring wardrobe. What do you guys think?

Thanks for stopping by!

I feel the same way about hats! I like them in the store, buy them, and then never wear them. However, I think the pink cap is adorable on you and can see how it can be styled in many ways. It’s a keeper!
