Hot Child In The City.

When these pictures were taken, it was an amazing 75 degrees in San Francisco. It was an absolute gorgeous day and the perfect day to debut my first ever crop top. As Jonny would say, crop tops are very 90s (think Clueless), but they are coming back in full force on the fashion scene. I am not usually one to show off my midsection because I tend to be more modest when it comes to showing my body. However, I could not pass this crop top off when I saw it on sale at Zara for $10. I had really been wanting to try out the crop top/midi skirt combo and I do have a thing for stripes. I feel like I could easily wear this particular crop top on its own, layered over a longer shirt, or even under a top if I needed extra warmth.

To debut this top, I paired it with my faaaaaavorite skirt. The color is beyond fab and I’m sure that you guys are so sick of seeing it at this point. I just absolutely adore it. Like I’ve said before, I have had difficultly finding the perfect midi skirt because they were always too short. This one from H & M is beyond perfection and fits just right. Also, it’s not too tight around my midsection, which prevented any unwanted muffin top exposure.

When I wore this outfit, I was out grocery shopping/running errands with Jonny. When we were perusing the grocery store aisles, and elderly gentleman came up to me and told me that I looked just like Audrey Hepburn. Oh, you know. No big deal. He only just told me that I looked like one of my major fashion/beauty icons! My life was made after that moment and I was so giddy with excitement! I’m not quite sure if the real Audrey would ever wear a crop top, but I’m pretty sure she would give a try if she saw how tasteful they can be!
