Happy Friday, friends and welcome to one of my favorite blog posts EVER! Working with a professional photographer (heeeeeeeeey, Lisha!) has been a dream both creatively and mentally. As much as I liked the convenience of Jonny taking my blog photos, it was driving both of us crazy and Jonny had never been passionate about taking photos. Fast forward to the present, I have been working with Lisha Wang (aka photographer extraordinaire) starting at the beginning of the summer and I am loving working with her.

Anyway, long story short, one of the reasons why I am so happy to be working with her can pretty much be summed up for this shoot. Lisha recommended the James Turrell Skyspace, which is located right next to the De Young Museum in the heart of Golden Gate Park. I mean, how AWESOME is this space? I loved shooting something a bit more ethereal in such a unique place (aren’t these walls the perfect shade of orangy pink?) and I felt so inspired being here, even though this may have been THE hottest day in the city and I was sweating my butt off. Also, fun fact, I wore this dress the day after my wedding to our Farewell Brunch so it now has sentimental value to me. I knew that this dress had to be mine the instant I saw it and it did not disappoint, especially since it ended up being perfect for San Francisco’s Indian Summer. Light and breezy for those hot September days!

Have a great weekend!
