Outfit Details | Skirt (ASOS, sadly sold out, similar here), Sweater (Forever 21), Shoes (J Crew, similar), Purse (Coach, no longer available), Bow Belt (Kate Spade New York), Lipstick (MAC “Ruby Woo”), Sunglasses (Karen Walker).

This skirt is my newest obsession. I first saw this beautiful skirt on Pinterest and just HAD to have it. When I saw that it was from ASOS, I knew that I could rely on the skirt being somewhat decently priced, which heightened my excitement! However, when I finally found the skirt on their website, it was sold out!!! Nooooooo! I do not give up easily, so I kept the page open on my computer and, sure enough, the skirt popped back up in MY size a few days (and a lot of page refreshing) later. Score!

When it finally arrived, I realized that the pictures on the website did not do it justice. This is one of the most amazing skirts that I have ever owned. The lace detailing is absolutely perfect and  the individual flower pieces actually feel like faux leather, which was such an amazing surprise! While the skirt is a tad large in the waist, I knew that I couldn’t return it and would just throw on a belt to cinch it in as needed.

I actually wore this outfit to the Hoss Intropia/LookMazing event that I wrote about in my last post and found it incredibly comfortable and unique. The weather was quite warm in San Francisco and I was able to get away with not wearing a jacket! Spring is most certainly on it’s way. As usual, my beloved “Tres Chic” sweater adds a graphic edginess to the very feminine feel of the skirt. I liked how the two items work together, even though one is quite casual and the other may be considered fancy by some. But, as you know, feeling fancy never bothers me!

Thanks for reading and have a lovely weekend.
