On the whole, I usually shy away from funky prints. When I first started getting into fashion, I shopped at Anthropologie a lot. Like, an unhealthy amount. During that time, I acquired a lot of different pieces of clothing that had funky prints all over them. Once I discovered that there were stores beyond Anthropologie, I kept my love for prints but found that I was more drawn to solids and fun textures. Guys, don’t worry. I still love Anthropologie, but coming across unique prints does not happen as frequently nowadays.

To my surprise, I completely fell head over heels with this Ann Taylor Lemon Drop dress. It captured my heart months ago but, of course, I waited for it to go on sale. Good thing I waited because not only did I get it on sale, I got it for an additional 50% off that sale price. Holla!!!! So exciting. Anywho, I absolutely love the lemon print, which seems to be quite popular for summer, and the light material just screams “wear me to a summer BBQ!” I also love the dropped waist (so different for a summer dress) and the unique neckline. Plus, it looks so different from anything else in my closet, which is always a plus!

Thanks for reading!
