When it comes to mini dresses, I usually stay far far away for fear that I might accidentally show the world my assets. There are a few mini styles that I’ve tried in the past and liked (remember my striped satin Topshop dress? Dreamy!), but most of the time, they literally fall short on me. Sad, I know.
About a week ago, Piperlime sent me an awesome 40% off your purchase coupon. As a Piperlime loyalist, I scoured the website for good deals. I found this dress forgotten about in the sale section and decided to take a chance on it. With my coupon, it came out to around $20 so I was willing to risk it. I have to say, I am SO in love with this style. It’s perfectly flowy on top and a little snugger on the bottom, which I have discovered in a good fit for my super long torso. I feel like this has opened up a brand new dress style for me that I always believed wouldn’t work on my body. I love when that happens!!!

I love all that is going on here! The print, the flowing material and design of your dress, the heavier jacket and boots. Contrasts are striking. I’m not a fan of the mini-dress, but this is a very attractive outfit.
