Outfit Details | Jacket (Ann Taylor), Top (ASOS), Pants (ASOS), Shoes (J Crew, old), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Purse (Rebecca Minkoff, color no longer available but love this color), Lipstick (Stila Stay All Day Vinyl Lipgloss in “Merlot”), Earrings (Etsy).

There is nothing more fun than a matching top + bottom outfit. First of all, it’s easy to wear (hello, they match!). Second of all, it screams vintage. Finally, with the right combination, a matching top + bottom can have a really fun edge to it. This ASOS top + pants combination is not only fun to wear, but it screams 1960s vintage, which I happen to love. The boxy fur topper (aka one of my favorite finds for this fall and winter) also adds to the overall 60’s vibe. I could see this outfit dressed up, like above, or dressed down with some metallic oxfords and a denim jacket.

As I publicly declared on my Instagram (follow along: @wannabefashionblogger), I have started the infuriating but exciting process of growing my pixie cut out into a short bob. As my hair grows longer, it becomes harder and harder for me to style my hair. While this can be frustrating, it also forces me to be creative and discover new looks and rediscover old favorite hairstyles (like the one above). Here’s to change!

Thanks for stopping by!
