Happy FriYAY, all! Whenever Shannon finds a new spot to shoot in, I always get excited because I know it's going to be good. This "No Parking" larger than life sign was no exception to the "Shannon always finds amazing photo op spots" and I loved how this outfit looks against this backdrop. Think San Francisco street style at it's best. If you've been following me for awhile, you know I always lean toward the moodier side for my outfit shots and I am loving the badass vibes these shots are giving.
TWO POLKA DOT TOP POSTS IN A ROW?! I must be CRAZY, if by crazy you mean obsessed, then yes, I am nuts for polka dots! I just can't get enough. Of course, when Reformation got word of the polka dot trend, they created the most amazing tops, dresses, and pants because they just have to be the best at every trend. I fell in love with this polka dot top when I saw it online and knew I must add it to my growing collection. It's just so easy to wear (like all Reformation pieces) and I love wearing it with a good pair of jeans.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I have been thinking nothing but fall thoughts (layering! pumpkins! holidays!) but San Francisco has other plans in mind, like 90*+ heat waves rolling throughout the city for about a week straight. Technically, I'm impinging on San Francisco's true summer (Indian Summer as it's known around these parts) and I've decided that I will still think fall thoughts but that I will embrace this weather while we got it.
Happy Monday, friends! Today, I'm bringing you another look courtesy of my friends at Sarah Liller. Constantly running around San Francisco require comfortable pieces that still help me feel put together. Take this dress for example. I love wearing it in black (it comes in other colors!) so that I can literally wear it with everything. Just like the Sarah Liller jumpsuit I debuted a few weeks ago, this dress is one of the softest things I own, which makes it so easy to wear everywhere. I also love the length. Even though this is supposed to be a maxi dress, as a tall gal, I really appreciate how this dress falls at a cropped length on me. Perfect for showing off my Saint Laurent star sneakers, don't you think?
Holy Matcha is a gift from the Instagram Gods. No seriously, it is. The entire shop is TO DIE FOR and it has been on my MUST VISIT list for a very very long time. So, when Jonny and I decided to take our anniversary trip to sunny San Diego, I was thrilled to 1.) celebrate with my love and 2.) GO TO HOLY MATCHA and maybe not necessarily in that order (#matchaobsessed). As you all know, I have an HEALTHY obsession with matcha. I do not drink coffee because I am sensitive to the caffeine levels in everyone's favorite morning drug and I actually quit drinking coffee about five years ago when I learned about this sensitivity and haven't really looked back. When I drink coffee, I don't melt into a puddle a la Wicked Witch from the West style but I do feel gross. I found that if I had a cup of coffee in the AM and ANYTHING caffeinated in the PM (this could even be dark chocolate) I would crash so hard. Anyway, long story short, I don't drink caffeinated coffee but will have decaffeinated coffee every now and then because I love the taste.
