There is nothing more feminine than a sweet peplum top, especially if that peplum top also happens to be pale pink! This H&M peplum top made a pretty big splash a year or two ago. All the fashion bloggers had it and every woman seemed to be coveting it. I actually bought mine on eBay and could not be happier with how fun and bouncy it is. Every time I wear it, I feel like I should be sipping high tea or twirling to see the peplum hem beautifully twist around my waist.

When I wear this peplum top, I usually want to pair it with something equally as feminine on the bottom. However, for today’s post, I wanted to create a more casual look with my new favorite pair of boyfriend jeans by Current/Elliott. I have been wanting a pair of Current/Elliott boyfriend jeans for quite some time now and was finally able to snag them on eBay for $40. So happy and proud of my bidding skillz. Anyways, the boyfriend jeans help bring the rest of the outfit to a more causal level, which is great for when I have to run around the city doing errands (note: for errands, I would not be wearing these heels!). For a casual evening look, I paired my boyfriend denim and peplum top with my favorite strappy gold heels to add a bit more pizazz to the outfit.
