Okay. It’s been like 70+ degrees in the Bay Area for the past week and a half but you guys, I just cannot let go of my winter coats! I’m pretty sure I’m a winter baby through and through because I can’t get enough of coats, layers, furs, and boots. Even though I don’t like to be cold, summer weather usually gets me a little down because I feel naked without all my thick winter fabrics. So, yeah, it was warm when this outfit was shot, but I just couldn’t resist showing you this perfect plaid coat, which is now $60 btw! I love the colors and it is such a perfect topper for my monochromatic outfits that I’ve been wearing lately. I’m starting to notice that my personal style is starting to become much more casual and low key over the past year. I’m loving solid colors and wearing minimalistic cuts because they are so easy to wear and always make me feel put together. This shirtdress is a perfect example. I’m obsessed with the fit and I have a feeling I’ll be adding many more shirt dresses to my spring and summer wardrobes because they are pretty much my go-tos in the warmer months.

What a great coat and I agree – the colors are terrific. The scarf is awesome. It’s made for winter weather. Shirtwaist dresses are a classic, but you add so much to it with your accessories that it raises the style into “chic” status….Terrific outfit!
