Outfit Details | Jacket (Mural via Nordstrom), Top (J Crew, old), Bow Tie (ASOS), Skirt (J Crew, on MAJOR sale!), Shoes (Zara), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Lipstick (YSL Glossy Stain #11).

Lately, I have been obsessed with wearing white and black. Seriously, it’s become a bit of a problem as bright and springy colors are everywhere. It seems as if my spring wardrobe hasn’t gotten the “spring is here!” memo. Oh well! While I’m wearing this beloved and effortlessly chic color combo, I always seem to be adding a pop of color or another neutral, like this gorgeous blush skirt. I love the cut of this skirt so much that I bought the same skirt in a different color, black! I’m guessing this does not come as a surprise given that I just professed my love for wearing black.

I also bought a new camera lens! A 50 mm lens to be exact. While I’m loving the change and vibrance of the new and improved photos (check out that blurred background, y’all!), we have been trying to figure out the magic mix of settings, ISO, and aperture. I know that sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo, but let me tell you, it has been all I can think about! Please bear with me while we figure it out!  My sister was actually nice enough to take these photos of me while Jonny was away on a business trip and I think she did a fantastic job. Thanks, Ar!

Thanks for stopping by, friends!

Always looking forward to Monday, Wednesday and Friday to see what you have put together! This is a terrific outfit. Luv the skirt. Luv the “girlie” bow tie! Perfect counter-point to the jacket.

Let me tell you I have taken a camera class and there is so much info it goes right over my head. I am better at learning just one thing and working with it. So I keep it on program most of the time. Your hair is looking good through the growing out process. I like that you find different things to do with it even though it’s short. Keep it up.
