Ever since 2014’s Pantone color of the year was announced (more like declared), I have been seeing Radiant Orchid (the most beautiful purple) absolutely everywhere. Magazine articles, blog posts, advertisements! Radiant Orchid is everywhere! I have even found myself on a major hunt for the most perfect Radiant Orchid piece of clothing so that I can revel in all it’s greatness. On my journey, I stumbled across a store that I had heard about through the grapevine of fashion bloggers that I follow. The store was Choies and I was amazed by their midi skirt collection. There were so many different options, colors, and cuts! The best part? This skirt that I’m wearing only cost $25. $25!!!! Once I purchased it, I was a little worried about what the quality would be like, but I have to say, it has the perfect amount of volume and the purple color is so rich and radiant.
Have you experimented with the gorgeous color that is Radiant Orchid, yet? If not, I definitely recommend it, but I’m already kind of a sucker for purple.
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
P.S. Sephora is also now promoting their Radiant Orchid Collection, which looks beautiful.
My goodness!!!!! What a color.
I’m curious as to the fit of this skirt. I looked at the size chart for this “one size” skirt and I’m right on the line. Does it have any stretch in the waist? Is it more a 4 to 6 or 2 to 4? I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!
Hi Veronica!!! The waistband of this skirt is actually very stretchy. I fall anywhere between a 4-6 in skirts/pants and found that this skirt fit well for me so I would say that its more of a 4-6. It was a little snugger than I anticipated. I hope this helps!
