Outfit Details | Blazer (MANGO), Shirt (J Crew Factory), Shorts (Anthropologie, similar), Belt (Kate Spade New York), Shoes (J Crew, similar), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Necklace (Jennifer Zeuner), Bracelet (Kate Spade New York), Earrings (Kate Spade New York), Lipstick (MAC “Snob).

Those that know me well know that I never wear shorts, mainly because I always feel awkward in them. Much of that awkwardness comes from constantly pulling them down to cover more of my legs and the fact that I believe they make my legs look short and stumpy. Hey, we all have our body issues, right? I found these shorts at Anthropologie a few seasons back and fell in love with the color and shape. When I tried them on, I found that I really liked the wider leg and the higher waist. I also loved how they could be dressed up, like with the look pictured above, and in true Wannabe Fashion Blogger fashion, I am trying to “wear” outside my comfort zone.

I have never been much of a suit girl, but I have been really into the shorts suits that I have been seeing while scrolling through Pinterest (you can follow me here). There is something so fresh and summery about a shorts suit, especially when all the pieces do not necessarily match like a traditional suit. In a more casual city like San Francisco, I could see myself rocking this suit for a night out on the town (if the fog ever lifted) or even to a show downtown. Really, the possibilities are endless.

Hope you’re having a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
