My third day of “Staycation Style” brings us to the San Francisco Zoo. Once a month, the San Francisco Zoo offers SF residents a “free admittance” day, in which locals come out in droves to check out the wildlife. Sorry to make you jealous, but it’s just another perk of living in such an amazing city! Jonny and I met my sister (Ariana) and her boyfriend (Matt) and had a great time roaming around the zoo and admiring our favorite animals. A highlight of this particular trip to the zoo was when we came super close to a baby (yes, BABY) giraffe munching on some leaves. The cuteness could not be denied, people. I also stopped by a favorite spot where my namesake primates (the Tamarin monkeys) play. My mom and dad used to take me to this particular spot and say, “Tamryn, these monkeys have the same name as you!” which of course meant a lot to me since I sadly went through most of my childhood thinking I was the only Tamryn out there. Sure, the Tamarin monkeys spell their names a little differently of me, but hey, I’ll take what I can get!
Can I just talk about this Levi’s denim pencil skirt real quick? I have been searching for the perfect denim pencil skirt and I have finally found it. I haven’t bought a piece of clothing from Levi’s in quiet some time and was pleasantly surprised that the quality is still fantastic and the fit is beyond perfect. Honestly, I felt like this skirt was custom-made for my body type and the price was under $50 since I used my student discount (heeeeeey-oh!). I also love the vintage feel that this skirt has. The light blue denim wash, the sexy front slit, and the body-hugging fit sure now how to make a girl feel like strutting down the street!
