Outfit Details | Vest (Thankoon for DesigNation via Kohls, unfortunately out of stock but coat version here), Dress (ZARA), Boots (Stuart Weitzman “ALLLEGS”), Purse (Chanel via Portero), Purse Pom Pom (c/o YogaStudio55 via Etsy), Sunglasses (Karen Walker).

Can I confess something to you all? I’m not a huge vest person. It’s not that I  have a thing against vests, I actually love the look of them, but I tend to be that person that’s always cold (by cold I mean freezing) and vests didn’t really seem to make sense to me as a piece of clothing that I would wear in place of a coat with sleeves to, you know, keep me warm? However, I have been trying to incorporate vests more into my wardrobe because they happen to make great layer pieces to wear UNDER coats (duh, Tamryn). This vest in particular caught my eye recently and it’s from Kohls. I rarely shop at Kohls. Actually, let me rephrase that. I have never bought a piece of clothing from Kohls that has become a staple in my wardrobe. This vest is a piece that I consistently wear at least twice a week because it is so easy to throw on when I’m heading out the door and the pattern is perfect for fall and winter. I actually wore this guy around when I was in NYC a couple weeks ago and loved how it just tends to go with everything. Hooray for versatility!

I hope you’re all having a great Monday. I sure could’ve used one more weekend day, but hey, at least we have another weekend coming up in just a few days.

Luv this outfit, although the boots actually make it something very special. The vest is a terrific piece however. Doesn’t matter where it came from, all that matters is that it looks great with whatever you put it with!
