Will You Be MY Valentine?

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! I don’t often wear red and pink together but this outfit is making me want to wear this combination every single day. I had a vision for this look once I bought this red coat, which just so happens to be the first red coat I have ever bought. I have mentioned this before but I don’t wear red that much. I absolutely love the color but I don’t find myself reaching for it much. However, when I saw this coat, I knew I had to have it. I’m glad I listened to my guy because this coat is BEYOND amazing and even more incredible when paired with my favorite pink Ganni power suit from last year. To be honest, I have been moving further away from “themed” holiday content. In years past, I have worn hearts on my clothing and I do currently own heart shaped sunglasses that I love, but I find dressing too on theme doesn’t feel authentic to my personal style. I would describe my style as more “cool” than “cutesy” so I wanted to find a Valentine’s Day inspired outfit that felt like me. I love the effortlessly cool vibe of this pink suit and to pair it with combat boots and a black turtleneck gives it an edgier vibe. Throw a super textured and oversized red coat on top and you’ve got a vibe goin’! I hope you all have a lovely day celebrating everyone that you love in your life!
