I know, I know. I’ve been teasing you all with snapshots of this dress over my Instagram this past weekend. I just couldn’t wait to share it with you all, so I pushed it up to today’s blog post! I missed out on the red and white sleeveless version of this dress last year, so when I saw this version for Spring 2014, I knew I had to act quickly and snap it up ASAP. Once it arrived, I knew it was love. The fit of this dress is dreamy. I don’t use that word to describe pieces of clothing very often, but when I do, they’ve earned that title. Okay, getting back to  the dreamy fit. This dress is 100% cotton so it’s not only adorable, but it’s breathable, which is so important for me during the warmer spring and summer months. Okay, and this print. THIS PRINT! I just love the hunter green checkered print with the tiny splashes of neon green that run between the other two colors. I also love that this dress has 3/4 length sleeves (I tend to be self-conscious of my arms) and a full skirt. This dress zips up the back and once I was zipped, I felt ready to take on the day. I also found that I didn’t really have to fidget with the fit of this dress very much (i.e. pulling at the waist, fixing the skirt, etc.). I just felt like it…worked.

I paired this dress with my camel colored accessories because I really wanted the focus to be on the print of the dress, which is even more vibrant in person. I also added my favorite leather gloves (isn’t the color so beautiful and unique?) that I got for a steal ($10) because I was freezing and topped the whole outfit off when my favorite bow belt. Seriously, I have to stop myself from wearing this belt with everything.

Thanks for reading and have a lovely rest of your Monday!
