I absolutely love this look because it is a little edgier than I typically show on this blog. While I admit that I am drawn to very feminine clothing, I also have a soft spot for clothing with an edge. I also rarely wear red but these pants feel like a breath of fresh air in my wardrobe. I wore this outfit to run errands with Jonny so I needed clothes that were going to be comfortable yet I still wanted to look pulled together. I love pairing my leather jacket (that I got for $30! Thank you Nordstrom sale!) with my favorite striped Saint James top (seriously, no other striped shirt has ever compared to how much I love this one) because this combination is simple yet quite understated. Plus, throw on some leopard heels and you are good to go!

I’ve also been experimenting with more nude/neutral lip colors lately. As you have probably noticed, I tend to gravitate more towards the bolder lip colors because they make such a fun statement. However, I love the subtle sexiness that a nude lip color can have, especially with my favorite neutral lipstick, MAC’s “Snob.” I’m going to try to incorporate this shade into my lipstick rotation more frequently.
