Nothing seals the style deal more than the classic feel of black and white. When I was younger, I had a slight aversion to the color black. This may in part be due to my mother, who is just about the most colorful (both in her sense of style and personality) person I know, and because I wasn’t really drawn to it. I liked wearing bright colors and I thought black looked drab. I wish I could go back to my young self, sit me down, and say “girl, get your act together because black is where it’s at!” Alas, time travel has yet to be invented so, in order to make up for all that lost time, I now dress in black and white all the time. You would think I would get sick of the pairing, right? Nope! It excites me more every time and I just feel so chic dressed in this color combo.
Because I am also a pink person, I paired my black and white combo with some pale pink accessories to add a couple pops of color. Also, I’ve been experimenting with my hair lately. The pixie cut, while I love it, tends to be very limiting in terms of hair style choices (oh, how I yearn for a top knot) so I’ve been trying out little things here and there to breathe a little new life into my hair routine. A little twist here, a tuck there, and I seemed to create some sort of up-do for myself!

Love this outfit on you! You look good in black and white…and I LOVE you hair today! I am inspired to play with my short hair today, too! (Also like when you slick your bangs back and wear pretty headband…looks chic on you!). 🙂
Love your hair that way. Very feminine.
Terrific outfit. You look amazing, but then, you are aren’t you?
Oh dear, this sweet petite pale pink bag makes me want to buy everything in miniature <3 and again: these Karen Walker sunglasses are pretty much on the top of my wish list!
