This outfit screams “1960’s mod” inspired, and I love it! I have always been inspired by 1960’s fashion and my new pale pink Karen Walker sunnies really seem to pull from that era. If you think about it, this look is pretty simple. Black, white and pink. That’s all! The fullness of the skirt and the cropped stripe top help make the outfit fun and on point for spring 2014, while the pink accessories, also very on trend, seem to be fun throwbacks to an inspiring decade of fashion. As you already know, I am loving the current pastel trend and find that the accessories from this outfit help make a statement without overwhelming the entire ensemble.
I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for the weekend. Luckily, the sunny weather seems like it’s here to stay, at least for the time being. I am so excited to co-host my first beauty event at The Social Beauty Company in San Francisco. The event will be this Sunday (April 13) from 11:00am-2:00pm. If you would like to come and/or read more information regarding the event, click here. Hope to see you there!
Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for reading!
