Outfit Details  | Jacket (Madewell), T-shirt (Lemon Breath), Skirt (Zara), Shoes (c/o Marc Fisher), Purse (Cult Gaia)

Remember when I told you that my obsession with gingham was kind of out of control? Well, this post (or as I’m calling it, Exhibit B) is here to prove that point. I bought this skirt awhile ago and I stalked it for weeks because it was always sold out. One day, I woke up, refreshed the Zara tab on my phone and VOILA! It happened to be back and IN stock in my size. I was stoked! I ordered it immediately and it really didn’t disappoint. It’s really the perfect skirt. It’s not too tight (which is something I hate on pencil skirt type pieces) and it’s perfectly flowy and ruffly in all the right places.

When Shannon recommended that we shoot at Ampersand, I knew that this would be the perfect outfit. We got there when it opened so we had the whole place to ourselves. The gals that were running Ampersand were so sweet. They let us shoot and didn’t even mind when we were totally in their way as they prepared for the day (thanks, ladies!). But seriously, the gingham mixed with the gorgeous blooms was just too perfect for spring. I was blown away by the unique space (it’s like a little garage meets a house in a little ally way off of 16th street and I loved every inch of it!) and the beautiful attention to detail. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re ever strolling around the Mission. It’s perfection!

Here’s to a great week, friends!
