This Banana Republic Faux Fur Pullover may be my favorite purchase of this season! I know that I’ve already gushed about this piece here, but I just had to show you guys what I’ve had on heavy rotation lately. Every weekend, this piece seems to make an appearance because it is just so versatile. You can wear it with jeans to dress it down or you can dress it up by wearing it with a pair of dress pants, like I’ve done here. This faux fur pullover is so well-made and is really a show-stopper. Every time I wear it, I always get compliments from complete strangers! It looks so luxe that you would never believe that it’s not real fur, which is something that I would never wear. And why would I? These days, faux fur is so realistic that there really is no need to wear real fur anymore.

In other news, it has been (literally) freezing here in San Francisco. This is rare, especially for these parts, and let me tell you, it has thrown me through the ringer. I have always loved to layering clothing, but I realized that layering is truly a necessity when the temperature drops below 30 degrees. With the extreme change in weather, my hands and feet have been FREEZING (cold hands, warm heart, right?!). I purchased these super glam gloves at Target just last week and I am in love. Not only are they pretty, but they actually keep my hands warm. I also like that they extend past my wrists unlike many other gloves that I have tried (so annoying). If you have a chance, check out Target’s recent selection of outerwear accessories. They are killing it!
