Outfit Details | Top (Zara, old but found on eBay!), Skirt (ASTR via Nordstroms), Blazer (H&M, old but similar here), Belt (Anthropologie, old but similar here), Shoes (J Crew, similar), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Necklace (J Crew, old but love this one), Rings (Etsy), Lipstick (YSL Glossy Stain #17).

I like to describe my style as “feminine with an edge.” For the most part, I tend to gravitate towards very feminine pieces, such as flowy blouses, a-line skirts, and high heels. However, to offset the girliness factor, I love mixing in an edgier piece, like this a-line faux leather midi skirt, to make the look more me!

Can I just take a moment to tell you all how much I adore this faux leather skirt? Great! What I love most about this skirt is that it is a edgier play on a classic style (the a-line skirt). The faux leather on this piece is unbelievably soft and very close to the look of real leather. I tend to be very cautious when buying faux leather due to the negative connotation “pleather” had when I was growing  up. However, faux leather is really having a moment and the updated look and feel is absolutely amazing. This skirt was one of those pieces that I liked on the hanger, but didn’t believe it would look very good on me. However, my sister insisted that I try it on and the rest is history. I paired this skirt with a very feminine button down blouse that reminds me of some of the fine china used for serving tea in England. I also added some major bling (thank you J Crew) and topped it all off with my favorite structured blazer that cost less than $20 and my cobalt pumps that really echo the color in the blouse.

Thanks for stopping by!

Now, this is my kind of look….and you have put it together beautifully. Love the way the shoes pick up the color in the blouse. Excellent!

Will Zara bring back that blouse again?

Hi Ashlee! I doubt that Zara will bring it back. Unfortunately, it seems as if once a season is over, Zara does not renew anything, even if the item is popular. I found mine on eBay. When I was looking, they had a couple other ones there as well! Good luck!
