Outfit Details | Blazer (Mango via ASOS), Top (Zara, love this one), Pants (Piper via Nordstrom, similar), Sandals (Zara, obsessed with these), Lipstick (MAC “Snob”), Sunglasses (Karen Walker, no longer available), Purse (Francesca’s), Earrings (H&M).

There is something so fresh about a black and white outfit. You don’t really have to worry about everything matching because black and white already go together so effortlessly. I have wanted a white blazer for some time now, but I am really picky about blazers. For me, I find that this is one of those clothing items that is hard for me to find. There are so many cuts (cropped, long, boyfriend, etc.) and so many different colors that I just get overwhelmed and end up sticking with my trusty J Crew Schoolboy Blazer. However, this spring, I was on a mission to find the perfect streamlined and unique white blazer and, as always, ASOS came through for me.

I found this blazer, which is made by MANGO, when  I was perusing the “New Arrivals” section one slow afternoon. When I saw it, I immediately knew that this blazer would eventually find a home in my closet. Did you know that ASOS often offers promotional codes that allow you to take an additional discount off some of their items? Oh, AND they let students take 10% off all regularly priced items (holla!). My patience paid off because I was able to snag a 20% off discount code and the rest is history. I mean, how amazing is the cut of this blazer? I particularly like that it does not have a closure because wearing it open makes throwing this piece on that much easier. I also love that it’s white and not off white or cream because it makes such a statement without overwhelming the rest of the outfit.

If you have a chance, browse your favorite stores for a white blazer that best suits you. I find that the brightness of the white really adds life to your already fabulous wardrobe.
