Style And Musings Event!

 

As promised, here are a few (okay, a lot) of pictures from Bobbie and my first “Style and Musings” event at The Social Beauty Company last Sunday. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing this event was. From the people to the food to the drinks to the fun beautylicious atmosphere, everything was just perfect. Seeing my friends and family mixed with my new friends and followers was such a surreal experience for me. Ever since I started blogging, way back in November 2013, I never expected that people would want to meet me, let alone hang out with me for a couple hours while we gabbed about beauty products and shared likes and dislikes. I know it sounds cheesy, but I really felt…home.

Walking around, I was thrilled to see people getting their eyebrows shaped and tinted (what!?!?! So awesome!), their nails accessorized with fun nail art, their eyelashes glamified with the most amazing false eyelashes, gals snacking on goodies from La Boulange and Jane, and everyone happily sipping on the amazing cocktails, flavored water, and champagne generously provided by BevMo and Hint Water. Also, watching the gals from The Social Beauty Company was amazing. They were so on top of everything and had everything under control so Bobbie and I could make the rounds and mingle with everyone. I am so thankful for their generosity and for letting us use their amazing space in San Francisco.

Also, people were thrilled to see our fun raffle items, which included fun goodies from The Social Beauty Company, BevMo, and Kidogo Kidogo. It was great for us to see people so excited to win such fun items that actually help women in the world, like the amazing Kidogo Kidogo iPhone cases. Congratulations to all the fabulous ladies who won one of the great raffle prizes!

One of my biggest “thank you’s” goes to my amazing and supportive boyfriend, Jonny, who photographed this event. He chose to spend most of his day taking pictures of ladies getting beautified, replenishing food and drinks when they were getting low, and mingling with guests. He is the best and I am so lucky to have him!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to everyone who came out to this event and for making my fashion blogging dreams come true. Your support on this style journey of mine means the world to me and I hope you all know that your involvement continues to inspire me and this blog.
