Black and White: Part Two.

I love me a good pleated dress, especially when those pleats are really black and white stripes. But let’s be honest. I love a pleated dress because I love how to feels and looks when I spin around in a circle. I mean, who wouldn’t want to have that perfect circle skirt moment?

While I loved the look of this dress (don’t worry, you will see it soon in all it’s glory), I was just feeling the “dress as a skirt” look for this outfit. To create a waist, a turned one of my favorite graphic tees into a faux crop top and used my beloved kate spade bow belt to further cinch in that waist of mine. I love turning a dress into a skirt because it really shows how versatile our dresses can be! Wore your dress out on Monday? Throw your favorite t-shirt over that same dress and you have a brand new look for Tuesday! A girl’s gotta have options, you know?

Also, I cannot stop wearing this Free People faux leather jacket. It literally goes with EVERYTHING. What a great investment!
