Black and white is slowly becoming one of my favorite color combos. Add some Valentino Rockstuds to the mix and you’ve got yourself a killer outfit. Let me start off by saying I have been wanting a pair of Valentino Rockstud pumps for quite some time now, probably along with every other girl in the world. I recently started a new career and wanted to splurge on these babies. Ladies, let me tell you, I was blown away when I saw these in person, more than I thought I would be. They are beyond gorgeous and are SO. DARN. COMFY! Seriously, they feel like little light clouds that are stunningly adorning your feet and making every outfit like 100 times more fabulous.

After this purchase, I realize now how Carrie Bradshaw felt about her designer shoe collection. While I am by no means up to Carrie Bradshaw standards (I still dream of her shoe collection), I do know that it’s hard to not get sucked into the world of designer duds. However, there are some items that feel more special than the rest. That’s exactly how I felt about this pair of very special shoes. I know that they will stand the test of time (pun intended) and that I will probably wear them with everything in my closet. Additionally, this wasn’t an impulsive buy. I coveted (aka researched them up the wazoo) them for years hoping that one day they would be mine. Now that they are, they are no less special and I know that they hold a special place in my heart.

Too cheesy? I don’t care! I’m in love, I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows it!
