In case you were wondering, my love affair with Veronica Beard is still going and remains quite strong. If you didn't know, I was introduced to Veronica Beard during my very first NYFW back in February 2016. I fell in love with their designs, the incredible #bossbabe Veronica's (they're actually sister-in-laws!) who started this business, and how they have revolutionized blazers (google "Veronica Beard Dickey Blazer" to see what I'm talking about. Genius.). I honestly cannot get enough of this brand. As I mentioned in a post from last week, my self confidence has been at an all time low recently. I just feel like nothing looks good on me. In fact, I haven't even been buying clothes because I feel so discouraged by my low self image.

On lazy style days (yes, we all have them), I tend to find myself reaching for a jumpsuit because all you do is step into a full outfit and voila! You're ready to go. There's really nothing better than a jumpsuit when you're struggling with what to wear, especially since you don't really have to think about what top to wear with what pants or what sweater to pair with what skirt. A jumpsuit covers all the bases, which is freaking fantastic.

The Thrill Of The Sale Find

The Thrill Of The Sale Find

There is nothing more thrilling to a seasoned shopped than the excitement of finding a piece you want on sale. Oh, and not just any old sale. Like, the ULTIMATE sale. We're talking take an extra 50% off your purchase kind of sale. When I was in college (aka when I embraced shopping as my cardio), these types of sales didn't really exist outside of Black Friday and right after the holidays. However, over the last decade, brands and companies are really started to embrace the sale mentality that many of us shopping addicts fall victim to because we want to save as much money as we can.

January is a really hard month for me...and from what I've heard around me, it seems like it's a super hard month for everyone else. First of all, you're coming down from what I like to call the "Holiday High." Everything is so fun and festive and you get to spend so much time with the people you love. For most, it's a time of year when you get time off so everyone is in a great mood during the holidays. But man, once January hits...WOOF. Talk about an epic comedown where everything feels hard and going back to work seems impossible. However, I somehow get through that long first month of year, but not without some creative blocks. I always feel like this time of the year is tough. I love holiday content and sharing that with all of you so when that's over, it seems sad to let go of all of that and move forward with just winter content.
