I'm not going to lie to you. Finding clothes that are not only on trend but also comfortable for an ever-expanding pregnant belly is not an easy task. After the initial excitement after I found out I was pregnant, I remember thinking to myself, "Crap. What am I going to wear?!" I experienced the lovely pregnancy bloat very early on in my pregnancy so I throughout the summer, I was always looking for pieces that were comfy but also cut to accommodate the bloat.
Bike shorts have been a saving grace for me this summer and I feel like I will keep wearing them into the fall. They're so easy and effortless AND they help suck in that lower tummy area. Really, theyr're the real MVP of athleisure dressing. However, it was all about finding the right pair for me.
NYFW is a crazy experience and something that I only dreamt about when I first started blogging. Honestly, this dream started way before I started blogging, but this blog made me feel closer to the fashion world that I so admired. I didn't go to NYFW until the year 2017 (about three and a half years after I started this blog) and it was truly a mind-blowing experience. I've never been one of those people that feels that I am above everyone else or too cool for school when it comes to opportunities like attending NYFW. Maybe, it's because I feel in awe that I even get to be a part of such a long time dream coming true or that I like to remain humble in everything I do.
Fall, what fall? San Francisco has officially entered Indian Summer, meaning it is H-O-T around the Bay Area. Since most people don't have air conditioning in SF, sleeveless dresses are required on these super hot days.
There is something you should know about me. I do NOT wear tight dresses or tight clothing for that matter. I wish I could say that I don't wear tight clothing because I'm too modest but really, it's because I don't like to show off my body. I have never been one to want to show any part of my body off because it felt awkward to me.
