One of my favorite parts about having this blog is that I have had the privilege of meeting and working with great people and companies. This week, I am so happy to shed a little light on the sweetest French cream puff bakery, Choux SF. Let me be honest for a quick sec. I usually don’t like cream puffs. I know. Crazy, right? I’m kind of the same with donuts, but I don’t want to go off on too much of a tangent here. Anyway, when Choux SF invited me and Jonny to a tasting, I happily accepted the offer because these cream puffs looked different. Not only does the French owner (hi, Laura!) make each and every cream puff look and taste like a magical slice of heaven but her attention to detail is incredible.

We tasted everything from a salted caramel cream puff to a key lime cream puff to a cherry pie cream puff and each one was delicious! Laura’s cream puff fillings explode with flavor and each cream puff is decorated with a sweet little topper. One of my favorite thing that I tried was the “Chounut,” which (pictured above) is shaped like a donut but is filled with a delectable strawberry filling. O.M.G. you guys. It was fantastic and incredibly unique. I’ve never tasted anything quite like it.

Laura has a background in interior design, which shows through her impeccable shop decor. Even the take-out boxes (perfect for gifts!) are perfect for housing each little cream puff and even have fun words that show when the puff is taken out to be enjoyed! As a blogger, this level of attention to detail is fantastic because basically everything is photogenic. Laura truly understands the modern patisserie and it shows! A fun side note: Every cream puff is named after someone that Laura loves! How sweet is that?

If you are ever in San Francisco, Choux SF is a must try. When you go, try to Chounut and the Cherry Pie cream puff as, while it was so hard to choose, those were my two favorites.

Thank you for having us, Choux SF!
