My love affair with faux fur started around 2 years ago when I bought this Michael Kors vest. I became obsessed with this vest about a year too late, aka after everyone had bought it and it was sold out in stores. As usual, eBay saved me and I was able to call this wonderful vest my own. I love the high collar and the beautiful coloring. It really does add such a dose of glamour to any outfit you pair it with. My one criticism is that it’s a touch too short on me, creating more of a boxy look than I prefer, but I can easily look past that if I pair it with snugger fitting pieces like this body-hugging leather pencil skirt. All in all, I still love it years later.

While the Joie sweater that I am wearing is not the star of this blog post, it has become my all-time favorite sweater. I wear it ALL the time and cannot believe that I am only now just debuting it on the blog. I nabbed it for an insane deal during a Friends and Family sale at Saks and I am so glad I pulled the trigger on it. It’s so warm, not at all itchy, and it literally goes with everything. I’ve tucked it into high waisted pants, worn it with skirts, and lounging around the house. I whole-heartedly recommend buying this sweater (I’m contemplating buying it in grey as well) because you will find that it will quickly become your new favorite.
