Cobalt blue is a color I come back to time and time again. There is something so chic yet so easy about this color that I find myself wanting to pair it with everything. While it’s no neutral (cobalt loves the lime light!), I do think it’s pretty versatile and can be paired with many things in your wardrobe. For this outfit, I really loved the look of my cobalt top and drawstring pants paired together. The colors were so similar that it almost looked like a jumpsuit! Isn’t it amazing when items in your closet are just meant to be worn together?!

There is an 80’s vibe to this outfit that I kind of love. The crisp white blazer against the bright blue mixed with the gold accessories feels inspired by an outfit you might’ve seen in an old Miami Vice episode. However, monochrome outfits are making a big splash this year and I am having a lot of fun mixing and matching pieces in my wardrobe to create monochromatic looks. Honestly, it’s so easy to wear the same color on the top and the bottom. There’s no “do these colors go together?” types of questions because a monochromatic outfit already goes together due to the fact that they are the same color or in the same color family. Easy peasy.

Hope you all have a fantastic rest of your day and, as always, thank you for stopping by WFB! 🙂
