Yep. I bought another leather pencil skirt, but this one was only $37 from ASOS!!! Genuine leather for $37?! I don’t even care that it was the “it” leather pencil skirt from last year. I am still going to rock it this year and for years to come. It’s that timeless. I tend to buy items in groups. For example, right now, I can’t stop buying pants/skirts. In a couple of months, this might change to tops and sweaters. I didn’t really find a problem with this until I felt like I started to “run out” (not really, but it sure feels like it) of cool things to pair them with. Then the cycle would start all over again as I tried to compensate for the void that I started to take place in my closet. Weirded out yet?

I didn’t have a problem pairing this skirt with this awesome sequin polka dot shirt that I bought two years ago. Whenever I put it on, I’m always reminded of why I continue to wear this every year. It’s so comfortable (it wears like a t-shirt) and the black and white is also timeless, just like the leather pencil skirt. To toughen things up a little more, I added my new favorite ankle boots. I have a thing for ankle boots, particularly black ones, but could never seem to find the perfect pair…until I slipped these babies on. They. Are. Perfect. Sure, the heel height is about half an inch higher than my ideal heel height, but I don’t really care. I love them. I think Carrie Bradshaw would understand.

Thanks for stopping by!
