Outfit Details | Turtleneck Sweater (MANGO), Pants (kate spade new york, dress version here), Shoes (J Crew), Purse (Coach, no longer available), Necklace (c/o Rocksbox), Sunglasses (Karen Walker, similar), Earrings (Etsy), Belt (kate spade new york), Lipstick (MAC “Snob”).

It’s no surprise that kate spade new york speaks to my particularly feminine side when it comes to picking clothing. It could be their expert use of color, their attention to even the tiniest details, and their overall creativity, but kate spade always has one item per season (okay, more like 10 but a girl’s gotta eat!) that I just have to have. When I first saw these pants in my local kate spade store, I knew that I would have to have them. When they went on sale, I still couldn’t seem to pull the trigger and, unfortunately, they sold out very fast online. However, much to my luck, these pants made it to the kate spade surprise sale for a fraction of the cost (if you have not heard of these surprise sales, you need to go to kate spade’s website and join their mailing list so you can be alerted when they announce their next one!). It was like the shopping gods had rewarded me for my patience and damn, am I glad that these pants are mine. When it comes down to it, kate spade really knows how to make a gal feel and look like a lady.

Even though we are heading into the cold months of November and December, you wouldn’t really know it in San Francisco. We are on heatwave number gazillion (okay maybe we haven’t had that many heat waves but t sure feels like it) so us SF city folk are still able to get away with not wearing a coat. However, even when the temperature drops (fingers crossed for soon!), I believe these pants will still be a knockout and a breath of fresh air from the more neutral colors that I tend to stick to during these seasons.

Thanks for stopping by!
