Ahhh…winter layers are my happy place. I’ve been dying to wear a few of the pieces and it’s finally cold enough! I’ve been most excited to bust out this adorable beanie because my hair is finally getting long enough to do the cute pokie-outie thing that hair does when you’re wearing a hat (short-hair girls know what I’m talking about!). Minus the pop of red lipstick that matches that awesome red wall, this outfit is fairly simple and all about neutrals (camel and black, was there ever a better combination?).

Also, this Zara vest is topping my “favorites of fall 2014” list. The lining is incredibly soft and the quality is spectacular. I totally recommend it as a layering piece or a fun one to wear on it’s own. It screams “snuggled up in a log cabin with hot cocoa,” which is one of the reasons I bought it. Well, that and warmth but when does practicality ever top the cuteness factor? Yep. Never.
