Outfit Details | Eyelet Dress (Madewell, on sale in stores, full price here), Shoes (Steve Madden “Stecy”), Purse (c/o Jane), Lipstick (Stila Wear All Day Liquid Lipstick in “Aria), Necklace (Jennifer Zeuner), Sunglasses (Karen Walker), Belt (Kate Spade New York).

Words cannot even begin to describe how I feel about this eyelet dress from Madewell. By this point, I’m sure it is a well known fact that I absolutely adore J Crew. Well, Madewell and J Crew are actually owned by the same company so it’s only natural that I would adore Madewell just as much. Usually, Madewell’s pieces are more casual than J Crew, which is why I was so pleasantly surprised by this stunning dress. It is so feminine, both in it’s cut and it’s intricate eyelet detailing. When I saw it on the sale rack (hello!!!), I knew that I would be walking out with it because it was just that unique. Of course, the fact that it fit perfectly also helped seal the deal.

Also, I am trying out high (and I mean high) heeled stiletto sandals. Usually, I shy away from shoes like these because they just scream “I will hurt you if you wear me for more than an hour,” but I really love the look, especially this gorgeous gold color. While I won’t say that these are my most comfortable pair of heels, they actually surprised me. They were much more stable than I had originally thought and they really do make my feet look fabulous. Even Jonny, who rarely notices what’s on my feet, commented on the “sexiness” of these shoes. Now that’s what I call a “win” in my book.

Have a lovely weekend!
