As much as I love layering and putting together fun and intricate outfits, sometimes I just want a simple outfit that only consists of items that are easy to throw on when I’m in a rush to get out the door in the morning. This lace Joie top is one of those tops that I come back to time and time again. Not only is it timeless in it’s cut, but it’s just so pretty that it literally goes with everything. Since we’re talking about easy pieces, a flared pant, especially a pair as fantastic as these ASOS ones, are always easily accessible in my closet because I tend to reach for them when I have a style brain fart early in the morning. Honestly, I feel so great in them and they wear more like sweatpants than real pants, which is a huge plus in my book.
To make this look more “spring appropriate,” I added some of my favorite pale pink accessories to help transition the deep bordeaux color of the pants into the warmer spring months. Bordeaux has always been a favorite color of mine and, in my opinion, I think it works year round because I make my own rules when it comes to style. Fashion rules be damned!
