Maxi dresses are difficult for me to find, which is why I only own one. Usually, I want my maxi dress to either fall at the tops of my feet or surpass my feet for dramatic effect and, thanks to this blessed gift of height (thanks mom and dad), most maxi dresses fall way too short on me. I bought this Victoria’s Secret dress last summer because I couldn’t get past it’s pleated-flowy-amazingness out of my head. Lucky for you, it’s available again (in both petite and regular lengths!) this spring and summer in so many more colors and prints. I may just have to invest in another one of these pleated maxi dresses because this season’s colors are just too good. While I wish this dress was just a tad longer, it is nice to not have to worry about lifting the front of the skirt up every time I take a step.

While I am usually a shorter dress fan, I do like changing it up with a fun floor length dress. There is something so easy and effortless about maxi dresses. You literally just pull it on and you’re good to go. Because of my height, I always opt to wear maxi dresses with flat sandals and these Sam Edelman sandals have been going strong for the past couple of years. They are so well made (absolutely no break-in time needed) and are my shoe of choice during the warmer months. Honestly, I need to add another pair to my shoe collection because I wear them so much that they deserve a little break.

Hope you’re having a fantastic week!
